Welcome to our 200-Hour Teacher Training Certification Program with Hanu Yoga, a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School! Be inspired and inspire others! Commit yourself to the study and practice of yoga in a community that will take you further than ever imagined. Wake up and learn to hold onto nothing and hold nothing back!
We ask participants to be prepared to devote their entire days to the training. While schedules vary somewhat from day to day, a typical day of the modular training looks like:

Weekend 4: THE ENLIGHTENED PRACTICE
Yoga History, Philosophy, and Meditation
Learn all about the subtle body and the divine chakras.
Develop and strengthen your meditation practice. Gain concrete tools and practice to guide meditation for others.

Weekend 5 & 6: THE YOGA BODY:
Anatomy, Physiology, and Biomechanics
Learn how your body is working in yoga poses through sound physiological principles, anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology with hands-on practice and enlightening lectures.
Learn all about adjustments with a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Learn about conscious touch and the art of adjusting poses. Segway into sequencing a yoga class. You’ll be confident in adjusting your students and sequencing themed yoga classes.

Weekend 7 & 8: FUNDAMENTALS AND FLOW
Asana, Alignment, and Assisting
Demystify yoga poses and alignment. Learn modifications to adapt your practice. Learn about the Bandhas; the energy locks of the body.
Recap weekend. This is your time to integrate it all. Solidify your leadership and communication abilities. Here you will get to teach plugging in everything you’ve learned.
